It may not have escaped your notice that we have recently refreshed our visual style and relaunched our website. While our iconic logo remains unchanged, we’ve updated our wider brand identity and online presence to better reflect who we are today and where we’re heading.
For us, it was important to honour our proud heritage while propelling Kilfrost even further forward.
Reintroducing Kilfrost
More than 90 years ago, Joseph Halbert drew inspiration from the humble snowdrop to develop the world’s first deicing fluid. Originally created to keep football pitches safe in winter, this breakthrough innovation was soon adapted for use in aviation and had a world-changing impact.
We then utilised our extensive rheology knowledge to develop a range of fluids that outperform MEG and MPG by maintaining viscosity, even at lower temperatures.
Today, our pioneering spirit lives on. Kilfrost now provides a diverse range of heat transfer fluids, deicing fluids and anti-icing fluids that are trusted by industries worldwide, from aviation and rail to renewables, food and beverage, and process cooling.
With this in mind, our refreshed brand, messaging and website have been designed to reflect both the company we have become and the legacy we are proud to carry forward. For over nine decades, we have made a difference and we continue to do so through insight, ingenuity and innovation in chemical manufacturing.
