HTF Products
Low viscosity heat transfer fluids
Our Advanced Low Viscosity (ALV) range represents the next generation in heat transfer fluid technology. These innovative formulations offer superior viscosity performance at low temperatures, outperforming standard MEG-based fluids. They also have a non-toxic profile comparable to MPG, making them safer for use in sensitive environments.
Our ALV range is formulated with corrosion inhibitors which are built on patented organic acid technology (OAT), free from harmful additives such as nitrites, silicates, Borax, Molybdenates and CMR-classified substances (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic or Reproductive toxins). This serves to protect equipment and pipework from rust and degradation.
With the ALV range, there is no need to compromise between performance and safety. Kilfrost low viscosity HTFs are ideal for modern systems that prioritise energy efficiency and sustainability, delivering long-term operational savings while maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability.

MEG/MPG heat transfer fluids
We offer a range of heat transfer fluids formulated using aqueous glycol solutions, specifically mono propylene glycol (MPG) or mono ethylene glycol (MEG). These fluids are specifically designed to lower the freeze point and raise the boiling point of systems, significantly expanding the safe operational temperature range. By doing so, they help prevent issues such as pipeline rupture, while also reducing the risk of corrosion and thermal degradation within the system. This ensures long-term efficiency, reliability and protection for both equipment and infrastructure.
