This coming April we’re delighted to share that we will be exhibiting at SWIFT Conference Europe at the London Heathrow Marriott Hotel.
SWIFT Europe, taking place 22-23 April, is a great event for the aviation industry as it provides a platform for live equipment demonstrations and hands-on showcases, as well as an extensive conference programme across the two days. Of which, we are proud sponsors of the Building Tomorrow’s Workforce | Training & Retention session.
Within airside operations, there is a widening skills gap which is being driven largely by the rapid adoption of electric and autonomous vehicles, as reported in Fleet News.
The session will feature four speakers, each with insight and expertise on how to train and retain capable airside personnel to address challenges faced in the industry.
- Nicholas Clifton-Welker, Aerodrome Training Team Lead at London Gatwick
- Liam Plumridge, Assistant Director – Enhanced Skills & Employability at Harrow, Richmond & Uxbridge Colleges
- Mark Sandford, Learning Lead (Engineering, Health & Safety, Airside and Airport Operations) at Heathrow Airport
- Craig Bingham, Airside Training and Performance Manager at Glasgow Airport
Jonathan Smith, Head of Sales and Marketing at Kilfrost, commented ahead of the event: “As pioneers in developing and manufacturing industry-leading aircraft deicing and anti-icing fluids we’re excited to demonstrate our innovations and sustainable and advanced fluids.
“The event also provides a great opportunity to foster and strengthen connections with those responsible for delivering airside operations.”
