Kilfrost ABC-K Plus

Type II deicing and anti-icing fluids

Kilfrost’s Type II deicing and anti-icing fluid, ABC-K Plus, is manufactured and qualified to AMS 1428 specifications.

Type II fluids can be used for deicing purposes but (unlike Type I fluids) also offer extended anti-icing holdover protection and can be used in a variety of ways. These include:

Unheated and undiluted for anti-icing
Diluted with water and heated for de and anti-icing as a one step process
Diluted with water and heated at the deicing stage in a two-step process, when used with the unheated and undiluted fluid
