In response to the evolving needs of our rolling stock customers, Kilfrost developed TDIce Plus - a versatile solution that both deices and anti-ices. Building on the success of TDIce, this next-generation product is specifically formulated for trains, ensuring the underside of rolling stock is thoroughly deiced, coated and protected.
TDIce Plus works by removing existing ice accretions while applying a protective layer that helps prevent further build-up – keeping trains ready for operation and maintenance even in harsh winter conditions.
Made with propylene glycol, the product is non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and a highly effective deicing agent. Thanks to a unique coating additive, it also delivers anti-icing performance, offering all-in-one winter protection for rail fleets.
The product is manufactured in two forms, a premix – TDIce Plus Premix, and a concentrated product – TDIce Plus Concentrate.
